MINA MINE NEVADA
And settlement of sorts?

Unoccupied Mine and Settlement Site
Mineral County
Circa Late 1800’s to Early 1900’s

Hidden in a brushy canyon behind the towering Pilot Range lays the site of the Mina Mine. Several standing structures line the winding trail past the mill up to the mine operation. The mine which flooded with water sometime back has since lost its entrance to collapse. Iron piping extruding through the collapsed entrance continues to drain the water filled tunnels out in to the camp below.A few of the remaining structures indicate construction sometime in the late 1800’s, yet others appear as recent as the early 1900’s. Remains include mine offices and workshops near the collapsed opening, Mill operation, employee bunkhouse, a few small one and two room residences and a couple of other buildings that may have housed businesses.
